Amanda Doyle
Principal of Evolution Dance school
MSc, BSc, BBO, RAD.

Miss Amanda is the Principal of Evolution Dance School. She began teaching at the studio in 2006 under the former and highly regarded principal of Dynamic Dance Kim Harris. Amanda has 28 years dance experience and began teaching at the age of 14.

Rebecca Dowel
M Teach, B Arts, Adv ISTD, Adv Ccechetti Ballet

Rebecca joined our academy in 2009 and has proved to be a great asset due to her pedagogical skills and her artistic flair in choreography. Rebecca has over 20 years experience in teaching many different styles of dance with students of all ages.
Rebecca is a qualified high school Dance teacher and she has completed exams to Advanced level in Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatrical. Her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Western Sydney strengthened her knowledge and expertise in the philosophies of Contemporary Dance in particular and furthered her understanding and appreciation of all forms of dance.
As a performer Rebecca’s experiences have been many and varied and she has studied with many professionals. Her passion for teaching combined with her love of dance keeps her solidly in the dance industry.
Rebecca’s experiences in teaching have helped her develop strategies to suit all stages of the development of a dancer. Most importantly she believes “It is the responsibility of the teacher to create an environment where students have the opportunity for their self confidence to grow and their dance technique to flourish.”

Teegan Church

Teegan ‘s love of dance began from the age of 3 when she started Ballet and Jazz. She continued with Dynamic Dance by adding  Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Cheerleading  to the styles she studies. Teegan has assisted  in the teaching of beginners Jazz, Ballet and Tap classes. Teegan participates in the annual BBO (British Ballet Organization) dance week where she extends her knowledge for both herself and her beginner students. At the conclusion of which she performs (at the Enmore Theatre and NIDA theatre). She has participated in the Brent Street summer school program, where her tap and ballet ability was commended and learnt a variety of styles with international choreographers. Throughout her dancing years she has performed at eisteddfods, school fetes, Sydney North Dance Festival at Glenn St Theatre and the School Spectacular.

Teegan continues to participate in annual Ballet and tap dance exams and has achieved a nothing less than a distinction average over the past 6 years of her BBO studies (Ballet) and LGTDA curriculum for Tap.
In 2013 Teegan began not only dancing at Evolution Dance School but also as a student teacher where she found her feet helping teach a junior hip-hop class and beginners ballet before progressing on to conducting lessons on her own from 2014.
Sophie Drago
Sophie stared her pathway in dance with ballet at 4 years old. After being reacquainted for her love of rhythm some years later, she took up jazz and hip hop classes. She joined our studio 10 years ago and says that she loves the motives of the studio and the smiles of enthusiastic dancers. She has successfully competed at a multitude of eisteddfods and has a dedication to the annual Sydney North Dance Festival. In the past few years, Sophie’s love for dance and choreography grew as she started to assist with junior jazz classes. This year she is striving to become an entertaining, exuberant dancer who teaches passion and dance abilities.
